Enrollment and Fees

ACADEMIC YEAR 2013-14

REGISTRATION WILL OPEN IN JUNE!

The goal of our program is for children to gain functional proficiency in Spanish, while they have fun in a relaxed learning atmosphere. Our research shows that language proficiency outcomes are intimately related to the amount of time spent by students in meaningful communication in the target language. The more time students spend under the guidance of a skilled fluent teacher, the greater the level of acquired proficiency in Spanish.

A high quality early foreign language program must offer at least 200 minutes of instruction a week. Offering 1 class a week or 2 classes a week is not sufficient to reach these goals, and that is why our classes are 4 times a week.

Our academic program follows the University Primary School calendar and meets 4 times a week for 50-minute classes (Monday through Thursday).

Classes for the academic year 2013-2014 run from September 3 (Tuesday after Labor Day) to May 15.

NOTE: Parents choose the time (3:15 or 4:15). Class levels will be organized into one or two classes per time period by the end of the first week of classes (September 6). Class groups will be based on the number of student enrolled, the ages of the children, and their previous knowledge of the language.
